Virtual production tool
CameraTracker
A focused iPhone app that translates real camera movement into live tracking data for virtual-production stages.

The idea
Camera movement, made useful to the virtual world.
CameraTracker uses the sensors already inside the iPhone to follow position and rotation in real time. That movement can be sent directly to compatible media servers, helping a digital camera respond to the physical camera on set.
What it does
A compact toolkit for practical tracking.
02
Places a stage origin
Tap a real point, then refine its position and heading with on-screen 3D controls.03
Connects to the stage
Sends standard FreeD tracking data to compatible media servers over a local production network.04
Protects the output
Clear tracking and network states help the operator spot a problem before unreliable data reaches the scene.

Why it matters
A familiar device can become a serious production experiment.
The project explores a lower-friction way to test camera-tracked workflows, previsualize a stage, and bring live camera movement into real-time content without starting with a large tracking package.
CameraTracker is an active R&D project rather than a production-certified tracking system. The current release is free-running and does not provide genlock or frame synchronization.
